PCB Mounted Drivers

PCB mountable hybrid stepper motor drivers from IMS are high performance and low-cost. These products utilize advanced hybrid technology to greatly reduce size without sacrificing features. All of these drivers are exceptionally small, easy to interface and use, and yet powerful enough to handle the most demanding applications.

These products are designed to be soldered directly into a PC board. This eliminates the need for wiring and mounting, thus saving design and assembly time, reducing system cost and increasing reliability. The ultra-small size reduces the overall space required in your system.

The IB462He is a high-performance, ultra-miniature bipolar half/full step drive which operates between +12 and +48 VDC and outputs from 0.1 to 2.0 Amps per phase. The IB462He is our smallest and lowest cost drive. An optional interface board and an analog speed control board are available to expand the capabilities of this product.

Specification Overview

The IM481H Plus, IM483H Plus and IM805H Plus are high-performance hybrid microstepping drivers, each with 16 built-in microstep resolutions ranging from full step to 1/256 step. These resolutions may be switched on-the-fly without loss of position.

Available options may include: speed control board, interface board, heat sink/fan/clip assembly for thermal management, and receptacle set for ease of mounting and removal. Please refer to each product's datasheet for details.
